The length of the beach means you are not crowded and swimming in the clear sea is watched by qualified lifeguards.
Travelling around could not be easier. Karon is only 3 kilometers south of Patong and you have choices of hiring vehicles or using the many transport facilities. Don’t leave without a ride in one of the special ‘tuk-tuks’ which is a delightful experience and a cheap way to get around.
